Congress

The DeMolay Congress is the Senate-style body where two voting delegates represent each DeMolay jurisdiction. The delegates meet once a year and elect an International Master Councilor and an International Congress Secretary, who lead and serve as the heads of the body for a time span of one year.

Braden D. Zimmerman | International Master Councilor   

Braden HeadshotBraden Zimmerman of Oklahoma was installed as International Master Councilor of DeMolay International on June 18, 2016 at the 96th Annual Session in San Diego, CA. 

Braden Zimmerman was initiated into Excalibur Chapter, Order of DeMolay on September 11, 2008, receiving his Representative DeMolay, Lamp of Knowledge, PMC-MSA, Distinguished Service Award, two Blue Honor Keys, and Chevalier in his time as a member. Additionally, he served as State Master Councilor of Oklahoma DeMolay for the 2015-2016 year. He is a multiple time ritual competition champion, including over 50 wins at the Frank Marshall Tournament of Champions. He was the first member of Excalibur Chapter, and helped grow the chapter to be the largest in the world for a time, while it continues to be the largest chapter in Oklahoma.

Braden is the son of Angela Northcutt and Brad Northcutt. Angela was Miss Kansas Job’s Daughters, 1984, and Brad was the State Master Councilor of Oklahoma and the 32nd International Congress Secretary. Braden was born in Wichita, Kansas and lived there until 2006 when his family moved to Yukon, Oklahoma where they have lived ever since.

Braden attended Yukon High School and graduated in 2015 with a 4.3 GPA and over 30 hours of college credit through his 7 AP and 2 concurrent classes. He also attended Canadian Valley Technology Center, where he was in the Computer Programming and Pre-Engineering courses. He was also an ambassador for CVTC.
He is currently attending the University of Oklahoma, where he is majoring in Mathematics.

Braden is also an Entered Apprentice at Yukon Masonic Lodge #90, and he plans on becoming a Master Mason in September.

Gabriel H. Jones-Gallardo | International Congress Secretary

Gabe HeadshotGabriel Jones-Gallardo of Oregon was installed as International Congress Secretary of DeMolay International on June 18, 2016 at the 96th Annual Session in San Diego, CA. 

Gabriel Jones-Gallardo was inititiated into St. Helens Chapter in St. Helens, Oregon on September 20, 2008. In 2012, Gabriel, transferred membership o Pacific Chapter in Forest Grove, OR. There he served as Master Councilor for three full terms. In 2014 he was nominated and invested with the degree of Chevalier. Gabriel served as the Regon VIII Cabinet member for the 48th DeMolay International Congress. On May 27th, 2015 he was installed as the 87th State Master Councilor of the Oregon DeMolay State Council.

Gabriel graduated from Century High School in Hillsboro, OR with the class of 2014. He attended Portland Community Collegefrom the Fall of 2014-Spring term of 2015. Gabriel postponed his college education to focus on DeMolay, and will continue his education in the Fall. He is double majoring in Communications and Business Administration.

On March 17th, 2016 Gabriel was raised to the degree of Master Mason, and is a member of Tuality Lodge #6 in Hillsboro, OR.

Brad Northcutt of Oklahoma was appointed International Congress Advisor by Grand Master Steven E. Crane on June 20, 2015 at the 95th Annual Session in Orlando, FL.

Brandon “Buddy” Herring of Arkansas was appointed Deputy Congress Advisor by Brad J. Northcutt on June 20, 2015 at the 95th Annual Session in Orlando, FL.

Jeffery R. English | Deputy Congress Advisor

Jeffery English of Kansas was appointed Deputy Congress Advisor by Brad J. Northcutt on June 20, 2015 at the 95th Annual Session in Orlando, FL.
