Potential Attendee Information
On behalf of Grand Senior Councilor Marc Bohn and his lady, Jane, thank you for considering going on the 2021 Grand Master’s Cruise! The following information is intended to give you as many details as possible about the plans for the trip, but we realize it may not answer all of your questions. If you have additional questions, we encourage you to reach out via email@example.com and we will get the information you need as quickly as possible.
About the Cruise
We will be embarking from Tampa, Florida, on a 5-night round-trip cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Brilliance of the Seas.
How much will it cost?
We have reserved a variety of staterooms on the cruise. The pricing below includes your cruise fare, taxes, and gratuities. Prices listed are per person.
|Double Occupancy||Single Occupancy|
|Balcony||$875 $760||$1,575 $1,365|
|Oceanview||$675 $590||$1,125 $1,070|
Most of the staterooms we’ve reserved are balconies, but we do have a limited number of Oceanview and Interior cabins available.
Who Can Be Part of the Trip?
We welcome any DeMolay, Senior DeMolay, Advisor, family member, or friend to be part of the trip. Royal Caribbean requires someone 21 years or older to be in each cabin. DeMolay’s youth protection policies for lodging of youth will apply.
What’s Included in the trip?
This is a “sail only” package. Your pricing includes your entertainment and meals onboard the Brilliance of the Seas. For your convenience, we have also included your gratuities and a photo of the entire group, which will be taken on formal night.
What other costs will I be responsible for?
Participants will be responsible for their own transportation to/from Tampa.
These items are not included in the cruise package: Alcohol, soda, specialty coffees, or any other drinks which are not covered by their cruise fare; souvenirs; excursions. Beverage packages may be purchased from Royal Caribbean once guests have access to their online portal.
The cruise pricing doesn’t include any pre or post cruise hotel nights, but we have arranged for a discounted rate at the Embassy Suites in downtown Tampa for those who would like to stay the night before the cruise. For $139 (inclusive), you’ll have a great room, access to the Embassy’s evening social, and breakfast on Monday morning before you head to the ship.
What if I’d like pricing on a higher cabin class?
No problem! Simply complete your form for the class of cabin that you’d want if the higher class isn’t available. There will be a checkbox to let us know you’d like a quote on the other classes and we’ll get those to you.
I’m driving to Tampa, where can I leave my car?
The following are current as of the time we published this document and are subject to change at any time.
- Parking at the Pier - around $85 (Monday-Saturday)
- Parking at the Embassy Suites with Valet Service - $192 (must be staying at the hotel to use this option)
I’m flying to Tampa. What are my options?
The hotel is very close to the airport and the cruise terminal. Uber and Lyft offer economical options. Royal Caribbean offers a shuttle service from the ship to the airport after each cruise for about $20-25 per person that would be added to your cruise payment.
When do I have to register by?
All registrations must be submitted via the online form by July 29th, 2020.
How do I pay?
DeMolay will send you an invoice by email after your reservation request is received. You will be able to pay by credit card online or you can send a check.

Online check-in will be required for all participants. Participants will check-in online with Royal Caribbean to obtain their luggage tags and Set Sail ticket documents. Both of these items will be printed by the participants. Our travel agent will provide input and instructions on this process and make sure all participants complete. Assistance will be available as needed.
All cruise cabins are non-smoking including the balconies. There are designated areas to smoke on the ship, but most public areas are non-smoking.
