Building a resume is essential whether you are applying for a job, college admissions, an internship, and many other things. The purpose of a resume is to market yourself. You need to have a quick way to say why you are the best person for the organization you are applying for. A resume is an excellent way to showcase this. When you're writing a resume, it's important to focus on the description of what you're applying for.
The Parts of a Resume:
Contact Info: Phone Number, Email, LinkedIn
Introduction: 3 bullet points tailored to the job
Education: Highest level of education and computer skills
Work Experience: Job Title, Full Time or Part Time, Company, Job Task(s), Accomplishments
How to Include DeMolay (Leadership/Community Work): Role, Responsibility
When you are younger, your resume should be no longer than one page.
